Paul Romness, MHP

Mr. Paul Romness leads OS Therapeutics with over 25 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry having served every function within major companies like Johnson & Johnson, Amgen and Boehringer Ingelheim. He has been directly involved in the launch of 9 major products in the industry covering indications for oncology, surgery, HIV, FSD, COPD, IPF, cardiovascular and diabetes. Throughout his professional career and within his community he has focused on and advocated for unmet medical need and getting treatments to patients. Mr. Romness has a B.S. in Finance from American University and a Masters of Health Policy from George Washington University Medical Center.
Robert Petit, PhD
Chief Medical & Scientific Officer
Dr. Robert Petit is an accomplished biopharma executive, innovator/inventor, company builder, and medical scientist. His personal mission is to develop new products and treatments that improve and extend the lives of patients. Robert has C-Suite experience leading several public and private therapeutic companies in the biotechnology, oncology, immunology, and infectious disease spaces. He has a consistent track record of excellence in corporate strategy, clinical development, scientific development, pipeline determination, medical and regulatory affairs. He has been instrumental in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and in raising over $400 million in public, $100 million in private capital and equity transactions. Robert’s extensive development experience includes the design, planning, and execution of programs for more than 13 drugs, 3 immunotherapies, 3 cellular immunotherapies and a dozen therapeutic cancer vaccine/immunotherapies. He is a practically minded problem-solving leader and an outstanding teacher. Dr. Petit’s education includes Doctoral Degrees from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Immunology and Viral Oncology/Medical Microbiology, with medical training.
Gerald Commissiong
Chief Business Officer
Mr. Gerald Commissiong is healthcare executive with over 15 years of experience serving in C-suite roles in emerging growth companies developing and commercializing novel therapeutics, diagnostics and natural products to address acute and chronic diseases. He previously served as President & CEO of Amarantus Bioscience Holdings, Inc. and Todos Medical, Ltd. helping raise over $80 million in equity and debt capital. His experience spans neurology, regenerative medicine, oncology and infectious disease. Mr. Commissiong received a BS in Management Science & Engineering with a focus on financial decisions from Stanford University and played professional football in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders.
Jack Doll
Chief of Staff
Mr. Jack Doll is a Research Rock Star and scanning/transmission electron microscope guru. His final research dissertation was on Drug/Antibody-loaded Nanoparticles for Cancer Treatment. A recent Biomaterials and Engineering graduate from the University of Georgia, Jack assists Dr. Petit on the Osteosarcoma Phase IIb Clinical Trial, as well as the final toxicology trial in Tunable Drug Conjugates.
Jutta Wanner, Ph.D.
Advisor Founding Scientist: OST-TDC
Dr. Jutta Wanner joins her Tunable Drug Conjugate (Advanced ADC) technology from BlinkBio, where she was Chief Scientific Officer. Before that she was at Roche where she was a co-lead in discovery chemistry. Dr. Wanner brings expertise across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, inflammation and virology. Dr. Wanner received her PhD from the University of Kansas and conducted her postdoctoral training at The Scripps Research Institute in San Diego.
Christopher P. Acevedo CPA/CFO/MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Acevedo has served as the Chief Financial Officer of OS Therapies Inc. since July 2023. Prior to taking that position back, he was our lead accountant and interim CFO since June 5, 2020.
Mr. Acevedo grew up in Cape May County NJ, a quiet beach community and has close ties to the area to this day. He started his first business at age 17, growing the grass, cutting business to a level that provided ample funds to pay for his college education.
Mr. Acevedo owns and operates a certified public accounting firm with offices in Delaware and Maryland, serving a wide range of individuals and businesses, in the service sector, since 2010. The firm is the accounting arm of OS Therapies Inc. and manages the accounting and finance for the company.
Prior to returning to public accounting, Mr. Acevedo held CFO positions at 5 companies (3 were related entities) with revenues ranging from $10MM to $50MM, all in the service sector and all privately owned. His work in selling business units and buying competitors provided M&A experience to an already solid accounting background.
He holds CPA certificates in the states of Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Acevedo graduated from the University of Delaware with an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S. degree in accounting, minoring in Finance.
Mr. Acevedo demonstrates extensive knowledge of complex financial, accounting, and operational issues. highly relevant to our growing biotechnology business. His knowledge extends into IT, HR and compensation oversight skills as well as being a tax expert.
He is married, resides in Delaware with his wife and has three children, all of whom have graduated or are attending the University of Delaware. Interests are wide ranging, with outdoor activities, golf and reading as his favorite activities.
Craig Eagle, MD
Chief Medical Advisor
Dr. Eagle most recently served as Guardant Health's Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining Guardant Health, Dr. Eagle served as Vice President of Medical Affairs Oncology for Genentech, where he oversaw the medical programs across the oncology portfolio and developed innovative cancer trials and strategies in personalized health care. Prior to Genentech, Dr. Eagle held several leadership roles at Pfizer, including oncology business lead for the United Kingdom and Canada, global lead for Oncology Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, and global head of the Oncology Therapeutic Area Global Medical and Outcomes Group, where he oversaw the U.S. oncology business. Dr. Eagle attended medical school at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and received his general internist training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
Robert "Bob" S. Langer, PhD

Dr. Bob Langer is one of nine Institute Professors at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), MIT's highest faculty honor. His pioneering work includes isolating the first angiogenesis inhibitors (with Dr. Judah Folkman) leading to new treatments for cancer and blindness. He also created the first nanoparticles and microparticles for delivering large molecules, including nucleic acids, and helped establish the field of tissue engineering which enabled artificial skin for burn victims and organ-on-a-chip technology. Dr. Langer has authored more than 1,600 papers, cited more than 473,000 times. With an h-index of 336, Langer is the most cited engineer in history. His patents have been licensed or sublicensed to over 400 companies, and he has co-founded more than 40 ventures, including Moderna. Dr. Langer chaired the FDA's Science Board, the agency's highest advisory board, from 1999-2002 and has received over 220 awards, including the U.S. National Medal of Science and the National Medal of Technology and Innovation (one of only three living individuals to receive both). His accolades include the Draper Prize (considered engineering's Nobel Prize), Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, Albany Medical Center Prize, Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences, Kyoto Prize, Wolf Prize in Chemistry, Millennium Technology Prize, and the Kavli Prize in Nanoscience.
